Day Watch Posterby *Lagutin

Another commercial work I made for "Day Watch" game advertise several years back. This one used for international campaign.
The Russian poster version

The image was huge (35 megapixels) and took a month to complete. The publisher did`nt wanted to use particular character from the game so he gave me a freedom to make my own. The only limit I had is sexless character without a face so they could pose him as anybody from the game.
I had some wardrobe elements in my collection and I had to purchase some to complete the costume.
Then I made a photo with model and background elements where shot later (old bus junkjard, nigh road etc)
Some 3D where used and lots of digital painting in photoshop.
Please note: Star Wars lightsaber looking thing in hand actual Soviet flashlight (was in Night Watch movie) and lightsaber looking laser blade on the back is actually a daylight lamp (was in Night Watch movie + as weapon in the game)
